"I Once Was Blind but Now I See"
While the world may be blind to the truth of the gospel, 2 Corinthians 4 reminds us that the power to change hearts belongs to God alone. Salvation is a creative miracle—just as light was spoken into existence at Creation, God miraculously shines his light into our hearts, transforming us from the inside out. We are "jars of clay," fragile and imperfect, but by clearly proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord, we participate in a divine work that spans the globe. Even today, God continues to speak light into darkness, opening eyes to behold his glorious grace.
