The Gospel according to Abraham
The gospel did not originate in the first century; it traces back to the dawn of redemptive history. In Galatians 3, we see that long before the Incarnation, God established a covenant promise to bless the nations through Abraham’s offspring. This blessing—justification by faith alone—rests not on human merit, but solely on the imputed righteousness of Christ. From Genesis onward, Scripture reveals one unified plan of grace: God accomplishing for sinners what they could never do for themselves by purchasing their redemption through the substitutionary atonement of his Son.
