One Thing, Forever
The book of Revelation is not intended primarily to spark speculation about the future; rather, it's a book written to suffering Christians meant to give hope and comfort in their present circumstances. The vision in chapter 5 provides a picture of God’s supreme authority and his one eternal plan of redemption. Once the sacrificial lamb, Jesus is now the victorious lion, ruling with grace and glory forever. It is by his shed blood that he has purchased and redeemed a people for himself, and together, we will one day sing with all believers as we stand with Jesus in victory.
