A Gospel Worthy Life — Part One
As in many of his letters, Paul has one exclusive focus as he writes to the Philippians—that believers would live gospel-worthy lives—fixing their eyes on Christ as a protection from both legalism and lawlessness. Such a life flows from the identity that believers already have as citizens of heaven. We are called to live gospel-worthy lives, not to earn citizenship, but because it’s already ours. Our lives, then, should reflect who we are in Christ—marked by integrity as we look to Jesus, who conquered sin and death, and stands with us in every temptation.
