Shaped by the Gospel: Union with Christ
To be united to Christ is to share in all that he is and all that he has done. In him we are chosen, redeemed, forgiven, and adopted as beloved children of God. In Ephesians 1, Paul explains that this union is not symbolic but living—Christ in us and we in him. It is a union that transforms our identity, secures our salvation, and shapes how we live. We no longer strive to earn God’s favor; we rest in Christ’s finished work. United to Christ, we draw our life from his grace and our hope from his presence, both now and forever.
