God’s Perspective – “But God”
Many years after they sold him into slavery, Joseph forgave his brothers. He trusted in God’s plan, and in Genesis 50, Joseph explained to his brothers that what they intended for evil, God intended for good. Like Joseph, we can look beyond our circumstances and trust in God’s promises. We can trust that God is using the trials of this life to work together for our good and his glory. Just as the entire Bible points to Jesus and tells one cohesive redemptive story, we can rest in the fact that our current suffering is part of God’s redemptive plan.
