The Posture of Christian Discipleship
Who is the greatest? That’s what the disciples wanted to know as they followed Jesus into Capernaum. What they learn, however, is that greatness in God’s eyes is far different from anything the world esteems. In this message on Mark 9:33-37, we see Jesus define what it means to be great in his kingdom. Followers of Christ should be humble in heart and posture, stooping to serve all people for the glory of God. No matter our position in this world’s economy, one thing is clear: sacrificial service is indispensable to Christian discipleship.
