Practicing Patience
Difficult circumstances often push us to the point of anger or despair, but James reminds us that those very difficulties should be the occasion for Christians to exercise patience. Genuine patience trusts that God will accomplish His purposes and looks forward to His return. With these convictions in mind, we can look to the Lord Jesus and draw wisdom from the examples God has given us in the Bible to live patiently and at peace with one another.
