Christian Transformation
When we place our trust in Christ, we are saved from sin’s power, but not its presence. So how should the Christian deal with the internal and external forces that seek to pull us back into our old patterns of sin? In Romans 12, Paul calls believers to participate in God’s transformative work of making us more like Christ by resisting sin, renewing our minds through His Word, and putting into practice God’s will for our lives. If we claim we are convinced that God’s ways are right yet fail to follow them, we have altogether missed the point.
