Humility and Wholeness
In his letter to the early church, James issued strong warnings against those who would claim devotion to Christ yet cling to the world. Such a believer is double-minded and deceived by pride. But there is hope! When we draw near to God and repent of our pride, God promises to meet us in our need and create in us a new heart—a heart marked by humility, submission, and pure speech.
