A Meal with Jesus
We have to be mindful that the routine of taking the Lord’s Supper doesn’t breed complacency in our hearts, but instead draws us to remember who Christ is and what He has done for us. As we come to this Supper, we remember and participate in Christ’s sacrifice, enjoy Christ’s presence, and proclaim Christ’s death. The more we come to grasp the unspeakable sweetness of the gospel, the more we will experience, in the Lord’s Supper, what it means to taste and enjoy the grace of the gospel.
