Christmas Benevolence Project 2025 - THANK YOU!
The Christmas Benevolence Project was once again a meaningful opportunity to serve, and we praise God for the ways he provided for families within our church, our community, and the city of Cleveland.
Since 2017, this project has given the Parkside congregation the opportunity to reach families in need during the Christmas season and to share the love of Jesus in practical ways. Throughout December, God provided willing hands and generous hearts—over 80 volunteers—who shopped, wrapped, and delivered gifts, along with many others who gave prayer and financial support.
This year, several Parkside families received a gift book, a postcard from the church, and assorted gift cards to help with Christmas presents for their children and food for Christmas Day. In addition, we are thankful to have served 85 community families through the project, including families from our community, Health for Her Cleveland, the Sponsor-a-Family program through Geauga County Job and Family Services, and three local school districts. Along with gifts and a grocery store gift card, each family received a Daily Devotional New Testament, Parkside service information, a children’s gospel booklet, and a note from Parkside.
We were also grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center’s Christmas project, which served 75–80 families by providing food, children’s pajamas, and gift cards for parents. Daily Devotionals and children’s gospel booklets were distributed as well. Because of your generosity, we additionally supported the Christmas outreaches of our ministry partners in downtown Cleveland. Scranton Road Bible Church received a financial donation while we provided The City Mission with Bibles for children and teens as well as gifts for the men involved in their Crossroads Ministry.
A sincere thank you to everyone who gave time, resources, and prayer toward this effort! Please join us in praying that those who received these gifts would come to know the greatest gift of all—salvation in Christ alone.
