The Old Testament is not a haphazard record of historical events, but a cohesive narrative that reveals God’s redemptive purpose. In bondage to sin and unable to uphold the law, God’s people were in need of a Savior. What, then, would God do? Alistair Begg reminds us that “in the fullness of time” Christ was born of a woman and under the law.
