Supported Worker: The City Mission
Country: United States of America
Details: In February, The City Mission celebrated a powerful milestone at Crossroads Men’s Crisis Center—the graduation of 12 men who made the brave decision to seek help, remain committed, and persevere through every class, every challenge, and every step to graduation day. Each one leaned into accountability, healing, and faith, showing up day after day with resolve and determination. Today, each graduate stands with employment, stable housing, and 100% sobriety—a testament to what is possible through perseverance, support, and God’s guidance. Pray for these men to seek the Lord daily. Also, pray for their upcoming Elevate: Lifting Stories of Hope Gala on April 17. Mozambique (Africa). Population: 35,631,653 Believers: 11.1%. After harsh persecution under the Marxist-oriented regime, Christian faith spread rapidly. There are great opportunities for fruitful ministry in most of the country. Mozambique was highly unevangelized, but now many people from all faiths and regions have begun to follow Christ! Training church leadership is an urgent priority, probably the most strategic spiritual issue in the country. Funds and facilities for formal theological training are lacking. Pray that the effective formation of biblically literate, godly leaders would match the ever-increasing needs of the church. From Operation World DVD-ROM 2010 and www.operationworld.org
