- Supported Worker: Kep & Debbie James in Africa, Europe, and the Americas
- Details: Thank God that the Equipping Servants International (ESI) Facilitator Training conference in Costa Rica last month went well. Eighty pastors and church leaders attended, and many of them decided to study Romans in ESI groups. Please pray for real gospel transformation in each of their lives as they study God’s Word. Pray for the church in Brazil and for believers to remain faithful to Jesus. Pray the pastors and church leaders will draw their strength from the Lord, resist temptation, and honor Christ in their personal lives, marriages, families, and ministries as they study Romans daily. Lebanon (Asia). Population: 5,849,421 Believers: 0.5%. Lebanon reels from decade after decade of tragic communal wars, foreign interventions, and internal crises of government corruption, joblessness, and economic stagnation. These crises have been made worse by constant conflict and war in both of its neighbors, Israel and Syria, leading to a million Lebanese being internally displaced. Meanwhile, nearly one-third of Lebanon’s population are foreign refugees. These refugees are often used as scapegoats for Lebanon’s many woes. But growing numbers of them are also encountering Jesus for the first time. Pray for this biblical land to know the loving mercy and rich blessings of our loving Father.
