Details: Pray for wisdom regarding the future of the Missions Aviation Fellowship (MAF) work and assets in Mexico. Pray that all will be used for God's glory. Pray for the pastors in Amoltepec to use the resources they have to reach the lost. Thank the Lord that Gregorio and Eily have recently joined MAF. Pray that he will guide their steps. Pray for Amos, who has accepted an assignment to serve with MAF in Ecuador. Pray for wisdom for Mike in planning trips to Mexico this year. Pray that God will bless the work of MAF around the world and bring much spiritual fruit for his kingdom. Latvia (Europe). Population: 1,853,559 Believers: 7.0%. After decades of Communism, the Soviet Union’s collapse left a moral vacuum in Latvia, which was quickly filled by opportunistic negative influences. Rates of drug and alcohol abuse, the sex trade, abortion, and suicide have thankfully been reduced from the sharp rise in the aftermath of Latvia’s independence. As a member of the European Union, Latvia has done relatively well from a technology and development perspective, but there remains an emptiness that no amount of prosperity can fill.
