* Praise for the fruitful month Kep spent training Streams Ministry Trainers in Egypt, Morocco and Senegal. Pray that the students in these 15 training centers preparing to plant churches in North Africa and the Middle East will practice what they learned, and continue to study God’s Word every day to learn it, to live it, and to teach it faithfully (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

* Pray for the 1,740 ESI (Equipping Servants –Disciples Making Disciples) participants in 162 groups meeting in 14 countries. Pray that these men and women will grow in their love for God and commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures with Jesus and His Gospel at the center.

* Pray for our ILC church in La Paz, Bolivia that members will be faithful sharing Christ with people around us, and that the Lord will bring much fruit that remains.

Thank you for Praying! Africa Trip Update

Just a quick update. God has given me the huge privilege of being able to spend time with and train team leaders of church planting training schools across N Africa, ME and Francophone Africa. The 4 days we spent together in Egypt were wonderful.

From there I flew to Morocco, where I have spent the entire week with students preparing to plant churches. Tomorrow, I fly to Senegal for more of the same. I have been impressed with every person I have met in these training centers--their deep hunger to know God and His Word and their willingness to face the high cost of following Christ and making Him known.

Africa Trip Update

Greetings from La Paz!

I leave Bolivia tomorrow morning at 4am for Cairo (through Bogota and Miami and Istanbul.) During the three and a half weeks I’ll be in Africa, I’ll attend a mobilization conference organized by a Cairo-based ministry. They have over 500 registered–these are Egyptian believers interested in missions!

After this conference, I will train leaders of the 15 church-planting training centers in North Africa and the Middle East. Would you please pray that these participants will gain a renewed passion and love for Jesus as we study through Romans and spend time together interacting on the nature of the gospel and the grace of Jesus? Also pray that my teaching will not be lost in translation!! Everything will be translated into Arabic. Following this four day training retreat, I’ll travel to visit two of the training centers. It means a lot knowing you are praying–and the wonderful thing is that when you pray you go!

* Pray for Kep as he spends the first week and a half of October in Morocco and Senegal visiting ministry training centers. Kep & Debbie September 2021 Update

Hello from Bolivia!

A short note to thank you for praying for us, and to mention a few specific prayer requests this month:

* For Kep’s trip to Cairo, Marrakech, and Dakar on September 17 for three weeks -- first to attend a conference (with 400-500 Egyptian young people who are interested in missions); then to lead a four-day training retreat. This retreat will be for 15 leaders of church planting training centers across North Africa. Please pray that our time together will deepen their commitment to Jesus and to be Biblical friends–they work in areas that are difficult for the gospel! Also that the time together will encourage each one to make a life-long commitment to study God’s Word, to know it, and to teach it–so they will live the transformation of the gospel by growing in Jesus. After the training retreat, I will visit training centers in various countries.

* For Debbie as she continues to build the women’s ministry in our church in La Paz. Several of her key leaders have left La Paz or Bolivia due to family concerns in other places. Pray as they plan their important annual women’s retreat in the month of October.

* Pray for Kep as he spends September 18-26 in Cairo with the ministry training center leaders, and part of that time leading a Facilitators Training Retreat. After this, he will spend 2 weeks visiting students in Morocco and Senegal who are preparing to plant churches in North Africa. Pray that God will use the time Kep spends there to encourage students and leaders to make a commitment to study God’s Word every day to learn it, to live it, and to teach it faithfully (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

* Bolivia is experiencing a third wave of COVID, and many around us are sick and dying. Please pray for people in our ILC church in La Paz who are suffering. Pray that our church will continue to help and encourage in practical ways, and that we will be faithful and effective pointing people to Jesus. As you might imagine, there is an unusual openness to talking  about Jesus.

* Pray for our ministry of teaching the Bible, that the Lord will give people a clear understanding of His Truth, and move the gospel forward in many lives. Debbie continues to see good fruit in her ministry with the ILC Church women.

* Kep continues developing training material for the missionary training centers in Egypt and other North African countries. Pray for his time with the training center leaders September 19-26 in Egypt training the trainers.

* Pray for the 1740 ESI (Equipping Servants –Disciples Making Disciples) participants in 162 groups meeting in 14 countries. Pray that these men and women will grow in their love for God and commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures with the Gospel at the center.

* Pray for Pastor Pepe and the elders of the ILC Church in La Paz, that they will be passionate about Jesus, and will lead the flock by example and with a gospel-focus in their preaching and teaching.

Hello from Bolivia!

This update tells you about last Saturday's ESI (Equipping Servants) graduation, COVID-19 update for Bolivia, and progress report on what we will be doing in North Africa.

Kep & Debbie July 2021 Prayer Requests

* We are thankful to be back in Bolivia. Many people in our ILC church in La Paz are sick with Covid, and several have died. Pray that we would be a help and encouragement, and that the Lord will open many people to see their need for Jesus in the midst of great suffering and heartache.

* Pray for our ministry of teaching the Bible, that the Lord will give people a clear understanding of His Word and move the Gospel forward in many lives. Debbie continues to see good fruit in her ministry with the ILC Church women.

* Kep is making good progress helping Brother Philip in his ministry in Egypt and other North African countries. Kep is preparing the 2022 training curriculum for the church planting training schools there. They have begun translating books and manuals into Arabic and French they will use for the 2022 curriculum in the training centers. Kep plans to be in Cairo in September to train the trainers.

* Pray for the 2200 ESI (Equipping Servants –Disciples Making Disciples) participants in 175 groups meeting in 15 countries. Pray that these men and women will grow in their love for God and commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures with the Gospel at the center.

* Pray for Pastor Pepe and the elders of the ILC Church in La Paz, that they will be passionate about Jesus, and will lead the flock by example and with a gospel-focus in their preaching and teaching.
